Bedford County Technical Students Participate in TOYS FOR TOTS Bedford County Technical Students are conducting a “Toy Drive” at the school to donate children’s toys for Christmas as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve TOYS FOR TOTS Program. Please consider donating to this worthy cause to make Christmas special for the less fortunate children. Toys will be accepted in the BCTC main lobby donation box through Thursday, December 1st. At Christmas, coordinators, with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, distribute the toys to the less fortunate children of the community. Mr. Myers and several of his agriscience students attended the FFA State Legislative Leadership Conference in Harrisburg on March 13, 14, and 15. The State Legislative Leadership Conference is held annually in March. This conference teaches over 400 FFA members, the legislative process. Teaching today's youth how government works is vital to the future of our industry and our country. Students debate actual bills and conclude the conference by sharing breakfast with their Legislators.

Today our culinary students opened up their kitchen to the entire school to purchase delicious treats. The 'Schoollie's Cafe' is open once a month to the student body. The cafe gives our culinary students a chance to fine-tune their customer service skills and all of our students something to look forward to.
